APH Park & Ride at Manchester Airport is a well established off-site parking option run by APH, a company that has been in the airport parking business for four decades!
APH Park & Ride is Park Mark Approved, has 24 hour staff, security fencing and CCTV.
The car park is open 24/7 and the courtesy bus runs between the car park and all terminals every 15 minutes with a journey time of around 10 minutes.

Directions from the M60 anti-clockwise:
- Take the exit at Junction 5 and then leave at the second junction, which is signposted A560.
- Turn left at the roundabout, following the sign for Sharston.
- Continue straight at the next roundabout and then turn left at the following roundabout to enter Sharston Industrial Estate.
- Take the first left and drive to the very end of the road, where the car park is located on the right-hand side. Directions from the M60 clockwise:
Take the exit at Junction 4 onto the M56.
- Leave at Junction 2, which is signposted Wythenshawe.
- Turn right at the roundabout to enter Sharston Industrial Estate.
- Take the first left and drive to the very end of the road, where the car park is located on the right-hand side.
Directions from the M6 Cheshire:
- Join the M56 and exit at Junction 3A, which is signposted A560.
- Turn right onto A560 and continue straight over the next roundabout.
- Turn left at the next roundabout to enter Sharston Industrial Estate.
- Take the first left and drive to the very end of the road, where the car park is located on the right-hand side.
On Arrival at APH Park & Ride Manchester Airport
- Approach the entry barrier. The ANPR camera will recognise your number plate from your booking and the barrier will rise.
- Drive into any of the marked arrival bays and then go to reception.
- Once you've handed over your keys, take the courtesy bus to the Terminal.
When Leaving APH Park & Ride Manchester Airport
- Upon arrival at Manchester Airport, call or text APH to let them know that you've landed.
- Leave the Terminal and locate the APH Bus Stop.
- Take the transfer bus to the car park.
- Visit reception where you'll collect your car keys. Retrieve your vehicle, make your way to the exit and continue your journey.

About APH Park & Ride Manchester Airport

APH Park & Ride Manchester is a very convenient option for Manchester Airport. Upon arrival at the car park, you’ll be required to hand over your keys and take the shuttle bus to the terminal - the journey time is around 10 minutes and shuttle buses run 24/7, departing every 15 minutes to all terminals at Manchester Airport.
It’s important to note that APH Park & Ride Manchester is an option that requires you to leave your keys to allow their fully insured drivers to park your car on your behalf.
APH Manchester run two car park locations where your car may be parked. The sites are located just a couple of hundred metres apart.
Both of the APH sites are Park Mark approved and offer the same levels of security, benefitting from CCTV, staff patrols, barrier controlled access and security fencing.
Regardless of which car park your car is taken to, it will be returned to the same location for your collection.
Other things to note about APH Park & Ride Manchester
- The car park accepts vehicles which are of normal dimensions the maximum height is 2.4m.
- The vehicle must fit into a standard parking bay and must be driven on a standard license.
- Snowboards and Skis are acceptable but the car park cannot accommodate surf board or windsurf boards on the shuttle buses.
