APH Park and Ride with EV Charging offers a great option for electric vehicle drivers who wish to park at Manchester Airport. The service will allow you to make your journey to Manchester Airport where you'll leave your vehicle in safe hands knowing that upon your return, the vehicle will have a good level of charge for your return journey!
- Enter the car park through the automatic barrier
- Drive into one of the marked bays
- Remove all of your suitcases from the car and check in to the facility.
- Continue your journey to the airport using our shuttle bus.
- Your car will be charged and once finished, moved to a secure parking space by one of our fully insured drivers.
- Make contact with APH once you've landed, this can be done by SMS or by telephone.
- Catch the APH marked bus, from one of the APH marked bus stops outside of the terminal.
- Arrive at reception where you'll collect your car keys and your car which will have been charged in advance!
APH Manchester Park & Ride with EV Charging has been awarded the Park Mark Award.
For your peace of mind, the barrier controlled site also has uniformed staff who are on site 24/7, CCTV and security fencing.

EV Charging at Manchester Airport
This is a fantastic option for Electric Vehicles (EV) drivers who are parking at Manchester Airport.
APH, who are an extremely well known brand in the airport parking sector, having being established for 42 years, have added EV charging to their Park and Ride offering at Manchester Airport.
On arrival, you'll need to leave your electric car with an APH representative who will take your keys and take your vehicle to be charged - you'll need to pack your charging cable in the boot and it's important that your car has a minimum of 5% battery remaining at the point of handover.
APH has both 30KW or 60KW chargers and once your vehicle has been charged, it will be moved to a secure parking space by trained and insured staff where it will remain until collection.
APH stresses that your vehicle will be charged only once at the time of initial handover or shortly after and that there may be some battery charge loss depending on the length of your stay, but this is to be expected!
After vehicle handover, you'll board a shuttle bus to the departures terminal, these are complimentary and run 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
Other important points:
- Maximum vehicle height 2.4m.
- £20 charge applies to vehicles over 5m that don't fit in a regular parking space.
