APH Gatwick offers EV charging parking for customers who drive electric vehicles.
If you book parking here, you'll hand over the keys for your vehicle on arrival at the car park and your vehicle will be charged by APH staff.
This is a fantastic option that should provide you with a good amount of charge to continue your journey on your return.
To reach the APH Park & Ride with EV Charging car park at Gatwick, leave the M23 at Junction 10 (East Grinstead).
If travelling southbound, take the 1st exit on the roundabout (A264 - Copthorne Way).
If travelling northbound, take the 3rd exit on the roundabout (A264 - Copthorne Way).
Head straight over the first roundabout (2nd exit), then at the next roundabout, take the 4th exit (A2220) signposted Maidenbower.
Continue on the A2220, following the signs to APH Parking Centre.
Drive past the Texaco Petrol Station (some SatNavs may direct you to turn left here) and continue until you reach the car park on your right.
When you arrive at the car park, park your car in one of check-in spaces and proceed to Reception.
Please ensure that your vehicle arrives at the car park with at least 5% charge and that you bring your own charging cable and any other necessary equipment to charge your car.
APH staff will charge your car and once complete, move it to a parking space.
Please note that charging will be completed only once, either on or shortly after your arrival to the car park, and any loss of charge thereafter will not be topped up upon collection.
Upon your return to Gatwick Airport, collect your luggage and proceed to the collection point outside the terminal.
Please wait for the shuttle bus to take you back to the car park.
Collect your keys from reception and continue your journey in your charged car.

It's important to note that APH will complete the EV charging process only once, either on or shortly after your arrival at the car park, therefore your battery may lose some of its charge during its stay in the car park.
Your vehicle will be charged according to the amount of charge you have pre-purchased and APH request that your vehicle has at least 5% charge when you drop it off to avoid battery depletion.
Finally, APH's fully insured drivers will move your car from the charging point to a secure parking bay for the duration of your trip returning it when you arrive back from your trip.
